I'm a full-time freelance writer essayist and blogger with a respectable social media following.  I’m originally from Montgomery Alabama, but came of age in Detroit prior to living in Cleveland and later settling in Southern California. My work tends toward issues of racial/ethnic/gender disparities, politics, Black history, and women’s issues. With a special focus toward debunking narrow stereotypes usually depicted in the media.
